Master Potter & Owner of eMeL Pottery
Marietjie Loots is a master potter with over 40 years of professional experience and the founder and owner of eMeL Pottery. Her work reflects decades of technical expertise, refined craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of clay as both a material and a medium of expression.

Anké Wiese transitioned from a career in scientific research to pottery after spending nearly two decades studying plant molecular biology. Drawing on her meticulous attention to detail and love for hands-on creation, she now brings a thoughtful, encouraging approach to teaching pottery.
